ReWild Tech
Repurposing Tech for Nature Conservation ~ A Partnership with TenacITy Computing
Launched on 4 March 2026, the ReWild Tech project is a partnership with TenacITy Computing that repurposes used PCs for nature conservation; reconditioning old laptops and desktops for donation to organisations within the Guardians community conservation network. This means that donated tech will be kept out of the landfill for longer and given another life empowering the environmental movement through advocacy, access to knowledge and skills development.
Justin Vandre, owner of TenacITy Computing, donates his time and expertise to refurbish the donated computers, stating “Sally and I have now developed this great opportunity to galvanise the action of next generation’s nature warriors through the power of tech and I am excited to be back in nature and driving this initiative.” To organise a donation, please contact Sally at sallys@guardiansofthedeep.org.za
